Pastoral psychotherapist and United Methodist pastor, Penny has been committed to helping people heal since 1986. Her work includes therapy for individuals, couples and families. She has helped her clients in their search for greater meaning and happiness in life, relationship struggles, grief, loss, loneliness, transitions, depression, anxierty and healing from trauma. Penny also brings 20 years of pastoral experience to mentoring clergy and working as a spiritual director.
Penny’s psychological training lays the foundation for expertise in helping people heal. She is a certified pastoral counselor trained at the Blanton Peale Graduate Institue and is a fellow of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. She holds a certificate in marriage and family therapy from Blanton Peale and has trained in Imago relationship therapy as well as in Gestalt pastoral care. Penny has also obtained specialized training in attention deficit disorder, domestic violence and trauma and recovery.
After having been a professional pilot, and more recently having obtained a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Penny enjoys sailing, the beauty of nature and music and sports with her family.
