Jim Welch, M.D. is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Mt. Sinai Medical School, with private practice offices in both New York and Ridgewood, NJ. He joined the Creative Living Counseling Center, as Supervising Psychiatrist, in 2000.
Dr. Welch is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School and has had post-graduate training in Texas and at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. He has served as psychiatric consultant for the National Institute for the Psychotherapies, Eating Disorders Associates in New York and the Montclair Counseling Center, among other organizations.
