Dr. James C. Wyrtzen received his B.A. and M. Div. from Moravian College and Theological Seminary and his D.Min. from New York Theological Seminary. He holds certificates in Pastoral Care and Pastoral Psychotherapy from the Blanton-Peale Graduate. At Blanton Peale he was the Director of the Graduate Institute from 1988 to 1999.

Dr. Wyrtzen is a Diplomate in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a Full Clinical Member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association and is on the National Registry of Group Psychotherapists. In 1991 Moravian Theological Seminary awarded him the honorary Doctor of Divinity for his contribution to Pastoral Counseling.

He directs training and development at Creative Living and specializes in working with individuals, couples and families and persons who are experiencing post traumatic stress disorder.
